This week’s question: You have just won a $100.00 Visa gift card. Will you spend the entire amount on a rare collector’s edition you have always wanted, or buy several newly-published books? Explain your choice. (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

oOoooooo!! Right now if I won a $100.00 gift card, I would purchase several books/items instead of just one rare edition. I would probably get:

  1. The Walking Dead Season 6 DVD – $19.55 @ Amazon
  2. The Great Pursuit by Wendy Higgins – $9.98 @ Amazon
  3. A Court of Thorns and Roses Coloring Book Paperback by Sarah J. Maas – $8.98 @ Amazon
  4. Bad Reputation by Nicole Edwards (Kindle Edition) – $4.99 @ Amazon
  5. The Last King by Katee Robert – $6.39 @ Amazon
  6. Overruled by Emma Chase – $13.19 @ Amazon
  7. Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens – $13.77 @ Amazon
  8. White Mountain Puzzles Ice Cream Collage Puzzle – $17.99 @ Amazon
  9. Dear Aaron by Mariana Zapata (Kindle Edition) – $3.99 @ Amazon
  10. Switch Hitter by Sara Ney (Kindle Edition) – $.99 @ Amazon

Total: $99.82 (let’s pretend there was no tax or shipping required lol)

What would you spend $100.00 gift card on right this moment!? You can’t say bills etc. Let’s have a bit of fun with our pretend money lol.

This week’s question: What author have you read the most in the past two years? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

This is a pretty easy question for me because I’ve noticed I’ve been reading a lot of new authors but also staying around authors I love.

*Clicking the author’s name will take you to their Goodreads page*

From 2016-Present:

  1. Victoria Aveyard (6)
  2. R.S. Grey (3)
  3. Julie Kagawa (4)
  4. Sarah J Maas (5)
  5. Mary E. Pearson (3)
  6. J.R. Ward (4)
  7. Erin Watt (4)

I’m in the process of reading everything by R.S. Grey. I adore her writing so much!! I was reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward but have since lost interest.

Who are some of your most read authors lately?! Let me know in the comments below!

This week’s question: Is there a fictitious town in a book that you would love to live in? What makes it appealing? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

How much time do we have?? lol!!! I have so many fictional worlds I want to live in. To name a few…..

  • Velaris (ACOMAF by Sarah J Maas)
    • Velaris is this magical place where you can just tell you would never want to leave. The lovely people, the atmosphere, the views, etc. It doesn’t hurt that the Night court lives here too *Looking at you Cassian 😉
  • Fool’s Gold (Chasing Perfect by Susan Mallery)
    • Fool’s Gold has the most amazing community. They have events practically every weekend where the entire town gets together. Everyone knows everyone and they all look out for each other. Sign me up!
  • Arizona territory in 1884 (High Country Bride by Linda Lael Miller)
    • So…I feel like I was born in the wrong era. I would love to live in this time frame. Simpler times, a world where what you see is what you get, etc.

I highly recommend each of these series. I hope you fall in love with them just as I did ❤ What are some of your favorite fictional worlds?

This week’s question: Do you overextend yourself with too many reviews because you can’t pass up a book in hopes you will get them all done or do you carefully plan and be sure you can fulfill the deadlines for all the promised reviews? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

It depends honestly. Sometimes I grab a notebook and write everything down. I’ll plan how many days it will take me to read each book, when they’re due, etc. Other times…..I just start going request happy and clicking EVERYTHING. I’m currently in a click happy mood and it’s awful. I’ll be facing the consequences VERY soon!!!

This week’s question: If you celebrate Christmas, do you feel the need to stop reading anything but Christmas-themed romances as the holiday season starts? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

Definitely!! I want to read all the cheesy romances!! Plus I want to watch all the Christmas themed movies as well!! Elf is a must watch every year. For books, I have two picked out for this year. Susan Mallery-Marry me at Christmas and Shani Petroff-My New Crush Gave to Me. I haven’t been reading as much as I used to here lately so these two are my main focuses.

Which books do you plan on reading in December?? Do you read only Christmas themed books in December?? Let me know in the comments below!

This week’s question: When reading a book, do you use a bookmark to mark your place in the book, or do you just fold over the top corner of the page? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

I always use some type of bookmark. Whether that’s a legit bookmark or a Kleenex, scrap of paper, etc. I really don’t like when my books have pages bent because it irks me. I try to keep my books looking as new as possible for all long as I can.

I also have a million bookmarks so chances are 99% of the time I’ll be using one of those. I have so many cute ones that I MUST use them. Do you have a favorite bookmark that you use over and over?! I have one that’s covered in a cupcake design. It’s my absolute favorite ❤

This week’s question: Candy Corn, a chocolate bar, or Popcorn. Which of these snacks are your favorite to eat while reading? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I’ll go with popcorn!! It’s light and easy to eat plus it’s not something you have to pay full attention to. Although, the buttery fingers may be an issue while eating. Hmm, maybe keep a wet paper towel nearby?!

My actual favorite snack to enjoy while reading would have to be either Fruit Roll Ups or chocolate covered raisins. The chocolate doesn’t melt on my fingers/hands and the fruit roll up doesn’t cause any residue. WIN-WIN!!

What’s your favorite snack while reading?! Is it one of the snacks mentioned above?! Candy corn, a chocolate bar, or popcorn?!  Let me know in the comments below!! If you did this week’s Blogger Hop, leave a link below for me to check out!!
