This Summer I really want to work on books that I’ve been dying to read but keep putting off. I’ve decided to put a spin on my regular TBR posts and make this into a bingo card. I’ve tried really hard not to sign up for many arcs for the months of June-August. I want the entire Summer off from pressure reads. Even though I really want to read the arcs I sign up for, I find myself feeling pressure to hurry before the deadline comes. I’m weird, I know lol!!! It’s just different reading without a deadline and no one waiting on a review from you. Alrighty, let’s get to the fun part and see the bingo card for Summer 2019!!!!!
Let me know if you’ve read any of these and which were 4-5 stars for you!!! Throne of glass is a re-read by the way. I’m just wanting to go back and start the series over before reading the last two books. I can’t believe that series is truly over, EEK!!!
A lot of these books are from Net Galley or series I’m behind on. I’m excited to bump up that ratio on Net Galley. I’ve let it go too far and yet I keep requesting more lol!!!
I saw this book challenge/tag floating around the blogger world and just had to join in. This looks like such a fun feature!! What better way to share your book favorites?! I’m not sure where this originated from, if you know please leave a comment below so I can credit them.

Memorable Titles That Start With “P”
I just recently finished this one and it was awesome!! Check out my review here.
The drama was so addictive in this book. I couldn’t put it down. I do want to say this should be classified as NA, not YA.
I know this series gets a bad rep but I really liked it!!!
Books Starting With “P” On My TBR
So….these books are beyond hard to get a hold of. None of my libraries or Overdrive have this series. They’re priced at $4.99 each on Amazon, which is a bit too pricey for me.
How adorable is this cover!?!? I can’t wait to read this series!!
This world is so fun to be in!! I’m dying to read this one and hoping the next generation is just as great as the first!
Baby Yours by Kennedy Fox
This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased, honest opinion.
This is book two in Hunter and Lennon’s story. Hunter Manning is one swoon worthy character. I seriously cannot get over how amazing he is!!!! Lennon is one lucky girl. In the last book we learned that Lennon was expecting a baby. This book is all about Hunter and Lennon’s relationship and preparing for the new addition. I won’t go into too many details because this is book two of a duet. You won’t be getting any spoilers from me!!
The relationships in this series are serious goals. Between best friends, lovers, sisters, brothers, etc. It’s all just perfection. You can tell this group of friends are 100 percent there for each other. I really loved seeing their bonds grow more and more.
This story had a lot of twists and turns that definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I’m really loving this author duo and can’t wait to read more from this series. Lennon’s sisters Sophie and Maddie are each getting a story as well!!! EEK!!!!! As I mentioned in my book one review, please go into this series blind. It’s a great story and it’s better to go into it not knowing anything that’s coming.
I’m sure I’m not the first one to come up with this idea BUT I haven’t seen it floating around. I thought this would be a fun idea to try and guess what a book is about strictly based on the cover. If you or someone you know is already doing this, that’s 100% great!! I’m not trying to steal your thunder by any means. To my knowledge, I haven’t seen this so I came up with my own title and decided to post it. If you want to join in, feel free to do so 🙂
I’ll be grabbing books from Google, Goodreads, friends, etc. At the end of my guess, I’ll post what the book is actually about and see how close I was. Alright, let’s get started!!!
So I know this author writes a lot of sports romances so I assume this involves sports as well. Other than that, I’m going to say this is a sibling’s best friend type of romance. Where the guy falls for his little sister’s bestie. Maybe the best friend needs a place to stay and they end up shacking up together??
Ruby Scott is months behind on rent and can’t seem to land a steady job. She has one chance to turn things around with a big audition. But instead of getting her big break, she gets sick as a dog and completely bombs it in the most humiliating fashion. All thanks to a mysterious, gorgeous guy who kissed—and then coughed on—her at a party the night before.
Luckily, her best friend might have found the perfect opportunity; a job staying at the lavish penthouse apartment of hotel magnate Bancroft Mills while he’s out of town, taking care of his exotic pets. But when the newly-evicted Ruby arrives to meet her new employer, it turns out Bane is the same guy who got her sick. Seeing his role in Ruby’s dilemma, Bane offers her a permanent job as his live-in pet sitter until she can get back on her feet.
Welllllllll lol!! I got the shacking up part right but that’s hardly a win considering it’s in the title lol!!! I’m failing at these so much here lately! At least a best friend is involved so I can feel semi decent about my guess haha.

Undeniable by Melanie Harlow
This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased, honest opinion.
This is book two in the Cloverleigh Farms series by Melanie Harlow. I’m guessing each Sawyer sister will get a book? There’s 5 of them in total so I’m hoping we get to read about each of them. This story follows Chloe Sawyer, the second to youngest sister out of the bunch. Chloe is the one who takes risks and jumps without seeing if there’s something soft to land on. Chloe grew up with Oliver Ford Pemberton. Their mothers are the best of friends. In fact, they had Oliver and Chloe two days apart. I thought that was a really fun surprise for best friends to share. Who wouldn’t want to raise their child alongside their best friend’s child?
Oliver Pemberton came from a very wealthy family. Coming from a family with money usually means a lot of expectations and rules. He was expected to run the family business and to follow step by step in his father’s and brother’s footsteps. I think that’s where a lot of Oliver’s personality came from. Oliver loved playing games. He seemed to take things for granted, Chloe included. Throughout their lives, Oliver and Chloe were always pulled together. They would start something and then one of them (usually Oliver) would stop things completely. I got really tired of the back and forth. I felt Oliver knew that Chloe had a weakness for him so he took advantage of that. He knew he could run off and do whatever because she would be there waiting when he returned. It wasn’t fair in my opinion.
Chloe was a bit of a rebellious teenager growing up. I feel like she was that way because of having 4 other siblings. They all wanted love and attention. I’m sure attention was hard to come by in those earlier days. Chloe deep down had a great sense of who she was and a great eye for work related things. Sometimes she doubted herself but she truly was excellent at being the marketing and PR for Cloverleigh Farms wines. I loved seeing her chase her dreams and see her light up while working out details for her dream to open her own distillery.
Overall, these two had some major history. You could tell they had a very deep bond and a magnetic pull to each other. I just wish the games were put aside. That Oliver could mature and stop running from Chloe every time things got serious. It was still a fun read even with all that going on. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!

I’ve found a new Wind Dragons favorite!!!! I swooned massively over Tracker. His looks and personality reminded me of Jax from Sons of Anarchy so it’s no wonder he’s my newest book boyfriend.
I only recently started reading Kennedy Fox stories and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!! I can’t wait to go back and read all their previous work!!!
I’m super excited to jump back into the Red Queen world. As you all know it’s a favorite series of mine. I just wish I enjoyed books 3 and 4 as much as I did with books 1 and 2.
Let me know your three W’s in the comments below!!!!
Tracker’s End by Chantal Fernando
I’ve found a new Wind Dragons favorite!!!! I swooned massively over Tracker. His looks and personality reminded me of Jax from Sons of Anarchy so it’s no wonder he’s my newest book boyfriend. I love me some MC romances. I can’t get enough of a well written motorcycle club series. I’m really glad I accidentally stumbled upon Chantal’s series.
Tracker has this alpha personality which I’m all about. He also had this sweet, softer side for Lana that made him such a great catch. It was nice seeing Tracker whose this confident guy who loves making others laugh bringing sweet, sometimes shy Lana out of her shell. They balanced each other really well.
Speaking of Lana, she’s best friends with one of the club member’s girlfriend so that’s how she’s introduced to the club. Tracker and Lana felt this instant lust and connection towards one another. Soul mates anyone?? It took some time but eventually these two just let go and fell for each other without reservations. Their romance was SUPER hot but also really sweet. Who knew this big bad biker could be so romantic?
I can’t say enough good things about Tracker and this MC world. I’m having a blast reading about each of the members and seeing them first hand through their books. It’s going to be hard to top Tracker but I can’t wait to see if anyone else measures up.
I felt like a lot happened but at the same time, not much of anything happened. I really don’t care for the comic version of Rick Grimes. I miss the TV version where he doesn’t put up with all this crap. You think TV Rick would let someone just continue to beat on him? That’d be a hard no. The TV version of Rick Grimes had the respect of everyone. They may not agree with his antics but they for sure respected him. While I’m at it, the TV version of the females are way better too. They all seem to just want to exist in the comics, while in the show they have personalities and contribute to the group. This volume also felt very melodramatic. Everything felt amplified for no reason. I really wasn’t a fan of this volume except the “We are the Walking Dead” speech that Rick gave.
Yikes! The Governor has arrived and he’s even worse than the TV series. I like how the comic series goes along with the TV one but they both have differences. Parts of this volume were really hard to read but it had more going on which I liked.
This one was action packed!!!! I kept trying to figure out what was going to happen and stayed on the edge of my seat. Volume 6 also had some majorly graphic scenes that were too much for me. BUT that’s the world they live in now.
Switch Bidder by Sara Ney
Piper has had a crush on fellow classmate Ryder Williams for quite some time now. Ryder is a star baseball player and part of a fraternity on campus. They had a class together in freshmen year and Piper can’t seem to get him off her mind.
Piper’s best friend, Mallory, is always trying to get her out of her comfort zone. Piper is this super shy and innocent person. She loves reading romance novels which made me like her even more. Mallory drags Piper to this auction that one of the fraternities are hosting for a charity event. They’re auctioning off different guys and Ryder happens to be one of the participants. While Piper is too shy to bid on Ryder…her friend Mallory has zero problems taking care of it for her friend. In the end, Mallory wins Ryder during the auction and writes down Piper’s contact info.
This book was really cute and definitely had some steam to it. I only wish that it was longer. It was over WAY too quickly for my tastes. I loved seeing how the book played out after the auction. You’ll have to pick up the book or audio book to see how everything went. Let me tell you, the narrator for Ryder is EVERYTHING. I looked it up and his name is Jason Clarke. I 100% found a new narrator to love. I was swooning so hard over his voice!!! EEK!!!
Definitely pick up this book and this author!! You won’t regret it!!!
