Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer, where you answer a bookish question and join a “hop”. The purpose is to help bloggers discover and get to know one another. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday.

This week’s question: What author have you read the most in the past two years? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

This is a pretty easy question for me because I’ve noticed I’ve been reading a lot of new authors but also staying around authors I love.

*Clicking the author’s name will take you to their Goodreads page*

From 2016-Present:

  1. Victoria Aveyard (6)
  2. R.S. Grey (3)
  3. Julie Kagawa (4)
  4. Sarah J Maas (5)
  5. Mary E. Pearson (3)
  6. J.R. Ward (4)
  7. Erin Watt (4)

I’m in the process of reading everything by R.S. Grey. I adore her writing so much!! I was reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward but have since lost interest.

Who are some of your most read authors lately?! Let me know in the comments below!

  2. It’s great that you know which authors you prefer and what type of writing style you like! I definitely think it’s good to have authors that you know you’re familiar with and enjoy the work of. I’ve been wanting to start reading Sarah J Maas, though I have yet to do so. Whilst I’m not familiar with many of the other authors on your list, I’m sure they’re all brilliant choices!

As for me, I don’t think I’ve chosen to read an author more than others due to reading preference, but more so due to the fact that they have more books in a series. For example, I think I’ve read Michael Grant the most purely due to the number of books in his Gone series, which got me back into reading.

Feel free to check out my own answer if you wish!

    1. Thank you so very much!! Sarah J Maas is a great author!! I love her acotar series best but it does have sexy times so not sure if you are into that? I gravitate to authors who I’ve rated 5 stars before. I know that they are able to give me a spectacular read and I liked their writing so much before that surely I will again. If that makes sense 🙂 I would love to check out your post ❤

  3. I read 8 Sarah J. Maas books last year… Basically, I read the Throne of Glass series (but still have Tower of Dawn to read) and I read ACOTAR trilogy. I love her writing! Can’t wait for the final ToG book! 🙂
